Origin of funding: The Government of Australia via Global Trade Professionals Alliance
The 2020 Festival of Inclusive Trade was a virtual event featuring presentations and panel discussions, case studies and interviews with organisations and business owners from around the globe. In collaboration with the Global Trade Professionals Alliance (GTPA), Kisserup participated in two virtual events showcased globally in support of this international effort to promote inclusive trade initiatives. Event 1: Practical skills for indigenous business success
Indigenous peoples face numerous and unique challenges to achieving success in international business. Using first-hand knowledge and their own experience working with Indigenous nations from the Arctic to New Zealand, panelists discussed the practical skills necessary and challenges to overcome for indigenous businesses to successfully engage in international trade. Event 2: Practical Skills for Indigenous Business Success featuring Kisserup President & CEO Pernille Fischer Boulter
In this session, Kisserup International Trade Roots Founder & CEO, Pernille Fischer Boulter, shared her insights and hands-on experiences working with female and indigenous business owners, as well as youth and diaspora communities. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience engaging in public/private partnership and export development in over 90 countries from the Arctic to the Caribbean, Pernille offered practical perspectives and advice on making trade more inclusive for small businesses in developing markets.
