Kisserup managed the organizations and logistics of the Atlantic Canada Mission to the Hannover Messe 2019. The aim of the mission was to expose Atlantic Canadian food related companies to leading innovation and digital transformation processes to better target technologies and partnerships that can increase productivity and exports in Atlantic Canada. The main focus of the mission was the participation of the Atlantic Canada firms in the Hannover Fair (Hannover Messe). This trade fair is one of the world’s largest trade fairs focusing on industrial technologies with over 6,800 exhibitors and around 250,000 visitors every year. The fair is held annually in April at the Hannover Fairgrounds. Additionally, Kisserup organized a field visit to the German Institute of Food Technologies (Deutsches Institut fur Lebensmitteltechnik DIL) with the aim of leverage partnerships and learning opportunities.
