The main objective of the consultancy was to contribute to the overall safety of citizens and improvement of the security environment in the CARIFORUM region through support for Crime Prevention and Risk Reduction and the promotion of Restorative Justice in CARIFORUM.
The purpose of this consultancy was to assist unattached youth in building entrepreneurial skills through training in entrepreneurship. The intervention firstly built the capacity of facilitators through training workshops (Training of Trainers). The assignment scope was to facilitate a theoretical and practical “Training of Trainers” and “Business Lab” in Jamaica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines following the “Creativity for Employment & Business Opportunities Programme (CEBO)” methodology. The objectives of the CEBO workshops were tailored to two main components:
1) Component one, Train the Trainers, training those that will facilitate the CEBO training with the young participants
2) Component two, to facilitate hands-on CEBO workshops “Business Lab” to a selected group of young participants (at-risk youth).
