Kisserup International Trade Roots was contracted to provide digital assessment, research, matchmaking services, logistics, mentoring, and export readiness training for companies across Atlantic Canada participating in a government-funded project, the Grow Export 2020 program.
Kisserup’s task was to design and implement a virtual trade Portal, training, mentoring, and matchmaking. The coordination of the virtual trade mission included the research of qualified leads, business matchmaking, and mentoring for the delegates for the multi-sectoral mission. Each company represented had a minimum of four meetings held virtually in alignment with their immediate and long-term desired outcomes. Furthermore, a minimum of five hours of mentorship support was given to each delegate.
During the period of the project, a virtual portal was created that included delegate profiles, delegate capability statements, and links to the social media of each delegate. A custom-made video introduction was recorded for each delegate during this VTM with the sole purpose of assisting the delegates in building exposure with their target clientele and generating interest in accessing their digital brochures. The virtual portal also included a password-protected section exclusively for the delegates to have access to the seminars provided during the VTM and the material related to them.
Finally, a comprehensive market research that profiled Atlanta and surrounding markets was conducted during the course of the VTM for each of the sectors represented by the delegates.
