Katrin Erdmann / International Food Business Consultant
Katrin is currently a Masters Student at Audencia Business School in France, specializing in Supply Chain and Purchasing Management, graduating winter 2020. In her undergrad she majored in International Food Business and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Agriculture in summer 2019 from Dalhousie University Canada, and Aeres University in the Netherlands.
Originally from Germany, she has lived and studied in the Netherlands, Canada and France. In the Netherlands she worked with international companies in the food sector to develop sales and export strategies for newly developed products. Focusing on newly developed products and spice profiles targeted for the European market, Katrin successfully introduced a new product line of spices to retailers in Belgium and Luxembourg, with several products successfully developed and adapted to the German and Dutch retail market. |
She is an experienced researcher for the agri- and food markets in Europe, North America and the Caribbean and has a well established understanding of aspects such as market competition, transport solutions and pricing strategies and labeling policies. Through her research she has contributed to the capacity building of several clients.
Fluent in both German and English, Katrin also speaks French and is currently learning Dutch. Katrin completed a 4 month internship with Kisserup in Canada in 2018 and continues to be engaged as a consultant.
