Kisserup was selected as the successful bidder by Saint Mary’s University to provide a comprehensive educational and business matchmaking program in Vietnam provide a comprehensive educational and business matchmaking program in Vietnam. This trade initiative included: pre-mission trade support, lead identification and B2B meeting arrangement, in-market mission support, and post-mission support.
The mission consisted of a week in-market attending B2B meetings and presentations on “How to do business in Vietnam and Vietnamese Business Practices” with the Ministry of Trade and Industry in HoChiMinh City. This mission’s goal was to provide each participating Sobey School of Business EMBA delegate with an opportunity to assess the possibilities for the companies they represented in the Vietnamese market. In return, each delegate had several prequalified potential customers, partners, agents, distributors, and other key industry contacts and organizations in the region (leads), as determined by the company.
In total, Kisserup provided each participating company with a list of approximately 15-18 qualified leads for their review and feedback. In addition to providing matchmaking services for this program, Kisserup coordinated the shipment of samples from Canada to Vietnam pre-mission and facilitated in-market briefings for the delegates to adequately prepare each organization for the Vietnamese market.
