Why Immigrants Are an Asset

​​​​​Pernille Fischer Boulter and Lara Burkart presented at the Halifax Central Library April 17th, 2019 to an attentive crowd. They presented on Why Immigrants are an Asset and should not be seen at as a burden. Ms. Pernille Fischer Boulter spoke of her personal experiences as an immigrant to Canada, her adaptation to the culture and the connections she made and retained over the years. Ms. Lara Burkart spoke of her experiences in Canada as an exchange student from Germany and the joy she gets from learning in a new culture.
Both presenters hosted an active Q&A after the presentation where many positive views were expressed.​
